The Rooms

Our Rooms

We have a room for every age group in our care. We also have two outdoor spaces, the garden and the bike alley.

Baby Room -

Our Baby Room is a cosy, soft play room where the children can explore a majoritively sensory environment and be free to move around without risk. This room also has a cosy sleeping area with cots, mattresses and blankets for the children to sleep comfortably without disturbance from the other children.

Walkers & Talkers -

This room is attached to the baby room and is another room for the children to explore. We have messy play, the climbing frame & slide, book corner and snack area. This room is also attached to the baby garden, which is fenced off  from the other garden and is more suited to this age group with sit-in cars, grass climbing and crawling equipment, tree house and messy play.

Toddler Room -

This room is for 2-3 year olds and is a larger room for the children to explore. There is a cosy 'Snooze Area' with mattresses, baskets, blankets and cushions. There is a construction area, messy play, water area, book corner and snack area in this room and the children are free to explore as they wish throughout the day. This room also backs on to the main garden which is open to toddlers, rising 3's and pre-school.

Rising 3's -

This room is attached to the toddler room and is for ages 2-3. There is a role play area, book corner, messy play and small world area in this room as well as the door to the bike alley. In this room, the children are preparing for pre-school and are used to the routine, meaning there is an easy transition from this room into pre-school as the routines are similar.

Pre-School -

The pre-school room is made up of an upstairs and downstairs area. Upstairs there is a role play area, computer zone and book corner as well as the snack area. Downstairs, there is a maths and science zone, water area & messy play, creative area, construction area and reading/writing area. The children have a set routine which is followed every day except in certain circumstances such as an outing. The children are free to move between the indoor and outdoor environments throughout the day.
